Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.”

Have you been living in shame or guilt? Have you been confused about who you are and whose you are? Fear not, For God, the Lord loves justice and He hates robbery for a burnt offering.

Shame – a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior.

Guilt is an emotional experience that occurs when a person believes or realizes—accurately or not—that they have compromised their own standards of conduct or have violated universal moral standards and bear significant responsibility for that violation.

Shame and guilt if it is not dealt with will eat you up alive. It can rob your peace of mind just like worry. You are often worried about what others might think about you if ever they find out the truth about your past. Adam and Eve felt shame and guilt when God asked them where they were after they had violated God’s command not to eat from the fruit of good and evil. They have hidden because they felt shame after they discovered they were both naked.

God will vindicate you

Isaiah61:8 “For I the Lord love justice, I hate robbery for burnt offerings. I will direct their work in truth and will make with them an everlasting covenant.”

This is God’s promise to those who have been mistreated, downcast, and unfairly judged. God will be your vindicator and avenger. He will comfort and console those who mourn. He will heal the brokenhearted, to set the captives free, to give you beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning.

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. It is time to rise up and lift up your head to the One who had called trees of righteousness. – Isaiah 61:3

He is inviting you now and for He has clothed you with garments of salvation, and covered you with the robe of righteousness as a bridegroom decks himself with ornament and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Romans 13:11, “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep, for now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the day not in revelry and drunkenness not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.

As our bridegroom, our Lord Jesus Christ is fastly approaching, we must be awake out of our slumber. We must be vigilant in prayer and seeking God while there is still time.

For those of you who have been mistreated, downcast, and unfairly misjudged, there will come a time for vengeance. God will be your vindicator in due time. It is time for you to look up and have hope in the Lord. It is time for you to get up and rise up out of the rut.

Where are all the suffering originated from?

Our mind is the battlefield, and we must learn to recognize the lies of the devil. We must learn to renew our thoughts by reading and meditating on the word of God. He has promised me before that he will set my feet upon a rock, He is the one who will take you out from the miry clay. He will give you beauty for ashes as long as you are willing to cooperate and believe that in Christ all things are possible.

John 10:10, the devil’s agenda is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Even if his job is for you to quit and give up, God will turn it around for good. For God is your vindicator. Jesus came so that you may have life and you may have it more abundantly.
