Make-up shouldn’t alter your appearance but should accentuate your beauty. I believe less is more when it comes to applying make-up. I like to keep a natural look that covers any discoloration on my face as well as some redness I have.

When Did It All Start?

In my twenties is when I got obsessed with cosmetics when I started purchasing high-quality brands like Estee Lauder & Clinique. I have tried countless foundations but I still go back to the Estee Lauder stay-in-place. Needless to say, I also own many drug store make-up that works perfectly fine. However, there was some drug store make-up that caused an allergic reaction to my face. Just make sure to choose the best match for your skin tone because the last one I’ve purchased online came out a lot lighter.

Keep A Mental Note

Before applying your make-up, make sure to wash up your face. Then, apply a moisturizer. I don’t own a primer because I think a moisturizer works the same. Another rule of thumb is to always wash your face before going to sleep at night. You don’t want to leave any make-up residue on your face that can clog your pores.

A good skin care regimen is important to slow the process of aging. These are the products I have been using recently. First, I use the Garnier to remove my make-up followed by washing my face with the Cetaphil cleanser. Then apply the All Clean Balm to massage my face. (not always every day, only if I feel like it. 😀) Finally, moisturize.
